Also, we wanted to mention an interesting exhibit that will be happening at the Academy of Natural Science now through February 2027. Some of the oldest plant specimens collected by Lewis and Clark are housed at the Academy of Science in Philadelphia. This exhibition delves deeper into how the knowledge of plants and land management from the Native Nations was passed onto Lewis and Clark. While visiting check out the native plant garden installation by the Garden Club of Philadelphia located in front of the museum. Find a link for more information and tickets in the newsletter!
