Think lawn?!
I'm remembering a hint I've read about spreading grass seed on snow, the theory being that it settles well in interstices as the snow melts. Well, we certainly have an opportunity, don't we?!

I thought this would be a good place to share the info about Reggie's Geraniums. She described these at the February zoom meeting. They are hardy, bloom from early spring to late fall, and perfect for gaps in your garden...
"The Ivy geranium that I discussed today is geranium CALIENTE. It comes in many colors and I use a lot of the pink. Recently the White (which I use less) has been unavailable because of some problem and I used a substitute in the last year or two, which was really quite good. It is called INTERSPECIFIC geranium (excellent heat performing geranium) and looks very much like the white Caliente. As I said, I usually special order these from Mostardi's as they are not available except in a very spotty way at garden centers (which usually focus on the more typical geranium)". Reggie

Happy New Year to all and HATS OFF to Elaine Lisle and the 🌱website committee for all of the hard work updating the Weeders site. It is by far easier to propagate exotic trees! 🌱
Thanks Sue!
