Workshop Information

The Horticulture Committee plans and runs several workshops each year. Workshop types include plant propagation methods, pruning skills, garden maintenance methods, or an in-depth focus on a particular type of plant, (e.g. bulbs, ferns, succulents, etc.) Each year the schedule is a little different and can be found in the program booklet.

  • Nov 19, 9:30- Begonia propagating workshop, hosted by Julie. Bring your own begonia if you have one or more to share.

  • December 3, 9:30- Hosted by Lynn Gibbons at Hilltop House.

The Weeders is a community that offers the opportunity to participate in horticultural, artistic, environmental, and civic endeavors.  By serving on committees, entering flower shows, and attending a variety of programs and workshops, every  Weeder can develop new skills and become better informed,
